Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon season last only from early June until late July.  It is during this short period that the Kodiak fishing fleet is able to catch these prized fish in the pristine waters of Alaska.  Because of the technology that we use to freeze these fish, we are able to provide our customers with this high end wild and sustainably fished salmon year round.

Instead of conventional deep freezing used by others where fish fillets are frozen and thawed, yielding a "mushy" and substandard product, DreamFreeze technology allows wild caught fish to be frozen and thawed to the state at which it was frozen at- a firm fish fillet.

The technology involves magnetic fields that allow the water molecules in the fish to become frozen at a smaller size than the conventional freezing that expands the cells walls to the point where they break down and cause that substandard "mushy" texture.

DreamFreeze salmon allows us to offer you sockeye salmon year round that serves as a rival to wild and fresh caught.
